Arianna Khmelniuk is an experimental artist living in Oakland, CA. Arianna is the organizer of Zapah lab and Olfactory Playground worksops, a research-based initiative dedicated to pushing the usage of scent in an art context and speculative design. Khmelniuk has been awarded residencies at Stove Works (Chattanooga, TN), Ossabaw Island Residency, Hambidge Creative Residency Program (Raburn, GA), and Summer Academy of Fine Arts (Salzburg, Austria). Khmelniuk received a distinguished fellowship stipend from Fulton County Arts and Culture (Atlanta, Georgia), grants from USAID (Kyiv, Ukraine), and the Academy of Fine Arts (Salzburg, Austria).
